Trade show design and event design has always held a special place in my heart. Thankfully, I had the opportunity to help design these large-scale booths for an international railcar company, TrinityRail.

TrinityRail needed to present themselves as the ultimate leader in rail. To help build on that perception, we pulled inspiration from the brutalist movement, and infused a bit of modernism. With an almost monolithic appearance, the strong walls, open format and custom furniture, we were able to manipulate the space for our client’s needs. Each booth design had to convey TrinityRail’s prowess, but also function as a comfortable place to meet. The first trade show booth was installed in Dubai, and the second was installed in Minneapolis, MN. Each booth incorporated custom furniture, LED walls, levitating ceilings, and custom metalwork.
